Erland Construction Earns Merit Award for Tenacre Country Day School Projects

BURLINGTON, MA— Erland Construction has received a Merit Award from the Massachusetts Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC MA) at the 33rd Annual Excellence in Construction Awards, recognizing the company’s outstanding work on the Design Center at Tenacre Country Day School in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

The annual event, held on November 6 at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Norwood, brought together nearly 250 ABC members to celebrate some of the most impressive construction achievements across the Commonwealth. This year’s competition showcased exceptional projects that demonstrated craftsmanship, innovation, safety, and quality—core values that define the merit shop philosophy.

Transforming a Campus for the Next Generation

Erland’s award-winning project at Tenacre Country Day School is part of a larger transformation across the school’s campus. The Design Center, along with the renovation of Appledore and the Learning Hub & Teacher Support Center, collectively reimagine the academic environment to foster collaboration, creativity, and connection among students and faculty.

Working in partnership with Tenacre Country Day School and Olson Lewis + Architects, Erland navigated the complexities of building and renovating within an active school environment. The team delivered each space with meticulous attention to detail, maintaining safety and minimizing disruption while integrating sustainable building practices and refined architectural finishes.
